Bluewater's core proprietary technology, HYBACS, uses naturally occurring bacteria to produce a high quality, odourless and re-usable water resource from a variety of domestic, agricultural and industrial effluents. HYBACS is particularly well suited to upgrading existing plants for improved performance or to accept increased pollution loads, and the unique aeration mechanism within HYBACS enables improved performance at significantly reduced power consumption.  Bluewater is also commercialising a suite of high-performance multimedia filtration technologies through its subsidiary, FilterClear.
