OMBU NEWS 2015

Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK, 13 August 2015 – P2i was named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Most Innovative Company of the Year in Europe category in The 12th Annual International Business Awards. P2i have been honored with this accolade before, having been awarded with Bronze, Silver and Gold Stevies since 2011.

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations. The 2015 IBAs received entries from more than 60 nations and territories.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala awards banquet at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Toronto, Canada on 23 October.

More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Company of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Startup of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others.  P2i won in the Most Innovative Company category in Europe.

P2i has gone from strength to strength in the past year, as our nano coatings continue to revolutionize the performance of tens of millions of mobile phones, Bluetooth headsets and hearing aids. We are operating in an industry which is driven by continuous improvement, and we need to mirror that same innovation and technical progress in order to cater to the needs of our customers. We won this award on the innovation of our coatings. Prior to 2014 we offered just a single coating technology, but now we have developed our technology to offer an entire range, allowing customers to select a protection level based on the intended usage of their product. The judges awarded us this accolade for the constant development of our technology, as well as our marketing and branding.

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from May through early August.

“The IBAs grow in stature and renown every year, and with that the number and quality of entries increases,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.  “This year’s judges were treated to more than 3,700 stories of success and achievement around the world.  We thank the judges for their time and feedback, and we congratulate the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie winners whom we’ll celebrate in Toronto in October.”

P2i’s CEO, Carl Francis said ‘We are so proud to be the recipient of yet another Stevie Award. These awards are truly a mark of quality for our business, and we’re excited for the future as we continue to develop and innovate.’
