Bowman Power Group is pleased to announce two key changes to the Management team and Board of Directors.
Firstly, we welcome Mark King as Chairman – Mark takes over the position from Peter Ward who has stepped down after serving as Chairman for six years. Mark has been with Bowman as a Non-Executive Director since January 2016, and brings a wealth of deep commercial and operational experience to the company. Mark spent the majority of his career with Rolls-Royce, where he ultimately rose to be President of the Aerospace division, which represented over 70% of Rolls-Royce’s turnover.
Furthermore we are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Dowman-Tucker as Bowman’s new CEO, effective from 1st January 2017. Paul joined the company as Engineering Director in 2012, and since that time has led product development and collaboration with customers on the adoption of Bowman’s Electric Turbo Compounding (ETC) products.
Paul will succeed Toby King, who has led the company as CEO since September 2011 and has taken the decision to step down so that a new leader can bring fresh ideas and energy into the business. Toby will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Bowman would like to thank Peter Ward and Toby King for their many years of service and leadership, and wish Mark King and Paul Dowman-Tucker every success in taking the company forward into an exciting next phase, which will see new products brought to market, both enhancing the value proposition for customers and expanding Bowman’s reach into the power generation market.
